Pastor: Matt Rudeen
Matt was born in Omaha NE. He married the most beautiful woman in the world, Brooke, and they have 2 kids Laura and Ethan. Matt served as youth pastor at Covenant churches in Willmar and Little Falls, MN before coming here to First Evangelical Covenant Church, Lincoln NE in 2001. He loves to spend time with his family and read and watch football. Matt tries to grow one step closer to Jesus Christ every day.

Minister of Music: Karen Howland
Born & raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. Attended college as a Music Major at University of Northern Colorado, Gulf Coast Bible College, University of Nebraska, and Nebraska Wesleyan University where I received my undergraduate degree - Bachelor of Music in Education. Studied with Beth Miller Harrod in Lincoln, Ne. & at Rocky Ridge Music Center, Madame Rhosanna Levine of Juillard School of Music, and Dr. Burton Coffin at University of Colorado. For 20 years was Professional Vocal Music Accompanist for the Lincoln Public Schools. Operated a private music studio teaching piano, organ, voice, & theory for many years. Have directed choirs of all ages, been Church Organist, and Church Pianist, since age 13. Have been Minister of Music at First Evangelical Covenant Church since 1995.
